Install shiplap in any room of your home that does not have drastic, prolonged fluctuations in temperature or humidity. Install your shiplap on walls or ceilings. Note: see installation instructions for proper installation.
Yes, our white shiplap is primed and ready to paint to match your home's aesthetic, or leave it white for a classic shiplap look.
Yes, when installing shiplap perpendicular to studs, fasten shiplap to wall on studs every 16". If installing shiplap parallel to studs, furring strips must be added horizontally every 16". If installing shiplap on the ceiling, an OSB backer and adhesive must be used atop studs.
Our shiplap can be installed with just a nail gun and adhesive. Construction adhesive can be applied to the back of each plank or on studs for a secure fit. The end of each plank must be painted with a color match latex paint found in the Menards paint department.
